‘I am glad not to be human!’ said Mobo. ‘This school does not sound good. I receive "Playschool" and "Sesame Street" - school does not seem so bad there.’
‘Oh, it’s not too bad, the teachers try to stop the bullies at school - if you stand up to them and refuse to be frightened they leave you alone. Some kids are just born victims; like my friend Abigail - she runs away from the bullies and it just makes them feel powerful. I stand my ground and shout at them. It helps to be a bit noisy sometimes.’
‘We act so, when the big, bully birds come to eat our eggs and chicks. Very small birds chase away - harass eagles, crows and ravens - we will not let them settle near our nests.’
‘Hey, I saw that once, while I was out riding, lots of little birds out chasing a huge, wedge-tailed eagle. It’s like that at school as well, if we all stick together with
our friends we can beat the bullies.’
‘Very well, Ronnie - but I mislike the tone of these people. They are the ones who are against us - would destroy Green
Mountain for profit. Beware -
they sound aggressive and unreasoning. I monitor and will infiltrate -
