This amazing bass monitoring tool comes in a couple different configurations, Subpac S2 studio seatback or Subpac M2x Wearable version. The Subpac has a frequency response of 1hz up to 200hz, these frequencies are quite pivotal to the overall production qualities we seek in our music especially when it comes to working with low frequencies.
I really appreciate the fact that it has a control box with features such as Bluetooth, intensity level, line in/out ports and built-in rechargeable battery. I can take this with me anywhere, I can take this with me on the plane or take it for a run on a workout session. My experience with it has been pretty intense, it has been quite convenient as I don’t have to test my tracks out in the club anymore, I can fine tune the bass and get exactly what I am looking for when it’s time to drop that new single to a proper audience. This came in handy while producing my latest single “Dark
Intensity - Chances”, it must be the most physical track I’ve produces thus far.
We all love the sounds of bass, but I think we can all agree that the feeling of bass is much more of an experience. A couple benefits for me personally, I don’t have as much ear fatigue as I used to, this means I can protect and preserve my hearing, and I don’t piss off my neighbors as much. One thing I would love to see in their next generation models is to have a smaller control box or possibly even the elimination of it as it is a little cumbersome to carry on you for the wearable version.
Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the new products Subpac will have to offer, as I am an Instant fan of this amazing technology!
