Tell us about the new label, plans, future
releases and how its been going up till
now?
As we have said were not quite up to releasing music just yet, were working with other producers to help build our skills & to most importantly to achieve the sound we are looking to create before releasing it into the world!
Future gigs, dates for the rest of the year?
We have a very busy year planned for Symposium along with a few bookings for our residency at Ampersand and also lots in the pipework for other events including Darius Syrossian’s Moxy music which you will see very soon.
We start of the year with our Symposium Presents: Into The Darkness on the 8th February. This is a sub event to the main Symposium providing one full night of Techno. We started that with just local lads and friends and slowly expanding the event bringing in talent from all over the country. Up and coming talents Owen Prydie, Blacklight and Projekt II have been a solid addition to the events along with our newest member Jo Poole who looks to be taking the scene by storm!
Who did you like working with the most?
As we are quite new to the scene we haven’t worked with too many but the people we have worked with have proved to be extremely generous and supportive in us.
The main people we have worked with recently are Oc & Verde as they have provided us with a platform very related to the kind of music we want to produce and play and are forever thankful for the opportunity they have
given us. But a lot of our network has come through Darius Syrossian as he is a person who has got lots of time for us. As we met around 4 years ago we have become good friends and many opportunities arise through his continuous effort to support up and coming DJ’s.
Who do you guys want to work with in future?
As were still working to perfect our own sound, were not at the point where we’d be able to collaborate with anyone yet, that being said there are so many good artists out there & it would be a pleasure to work with any of them. Check our lists below, this was so much harder work than we’d have thought to whittle them down to top 10’s! Right now we are working hard with some of the best up and coming talent in the techno scene. Creating a strong bond with Prydie, Blacklight and Jo Poole along with some of the best local DJ’s in the area we feel we are creating something special to work on and take to new places.
After being made the residents for the new Ampersand record label with Oc & Verde we will continue to work with them on events and also with our production so you can expect some big tracks to be coming out in the near future.
