30 years ago the 25-year-old Dag Lerner, also known as DJ Dag, began his career as a DJ in his native Frankfurt am Main. At that time the DJ wasn't a superstar whom everybody adored. If one did a good job as a DJ, he was rewarded with respect and a crowded dance floor.
That’s exactly what he still wants nowadays. In those days there were the Resident DJs in the clubs who organized and arranged the whole night. The party guests came to the club because of the Resident-DJs and because they knew what they would get for their money, every weekend.
At some point the booked DJ eliminated the Resident-DJ, meaning that people only went to the club for a specific DJ.
DJ Dag is tightly bound up with the "Sound of Frankfurt“ and besides the Music Hall venue, he also feels close to the former club Dorian Gray, the Omen, the Cocoon Club, the U60311 and today as well established Resident to Nature One. Also legendary were his sets during the radio show "hr3 Clubnight". Especially in the 90s but still today he puts milestones in the range of dance music!
After thirty years of lived subculture, the clubs and the vinyl, an euphoric - hypnotic atmosphere rises when he puts himself behind the turntables!
Sunday morning 7 o'clock @ Nature One. The other floors close and everybody swarms to the great Open Air Floor, where DJ Dag traditionally plays the final set with 2 Technics, no one can do it like him. The best performs the final set!
Now the Trance heads dance beside the House & Techno heads! One and all united till sunrise with the sound of DJ Dag!
