The Red Man is a fictional psychological horror mystery with an EDM twist. The main protagonist Evan Gough a.k.a. DJ Go gets shot to stardom almost overnight after a tragedy. Like many other DJ’s, Evan Gough caught a drug problem, but he gets clean. After gets clean he realizes that his friends are fake, having horrible dreams, fed up with being a star. Evan lives in a trendy high rise apartment building filled with celebrities and other A-Listers.
DJ go sees a psychiatrist Dr. Verde. Who is a world renound physiatrist with a reputation for being a doctor for the stars. Everything is going well until Evan suspects that his psychiatrist and his neighbor are involved in a secret society conspiracy and are drugging and killing his celebrity neighbors. Evan turns to Dr. Verde’s new intern Eve Woodhouse for help uncovering the mystery.
Evan Gough was 19 when he caught the DJ “bug” in 1999. A time that some would call a golden age of
raves. Like many DJ’s of that time they started to become torn as the EDM scene was becoming more mainstream, as to whether to stick to their underground roots or commercial success. Evan Gough first musical loves were Nitzer, Plastikman, The Prodigy and KMFDM. As he starts to build a sustainable career he becomes victim to a horrible family tragedy. Whereas most people would recluse and give up on life. Evan used this pain and grief to propel his music to the top. He then Signs with a prestigious music agency, The Adelson Agency.
Dr. Ernesto Verde is an immigrant of Oeiras a small city in Portugal. He went to University of Lisbon in the 1970’s. Then after having a successful practice in Portugal he moves to the United States in 1988. Dr. Verde moved to the United States with fellow pharmacologist and friend Dr. Ruffino Vermelho, who owns Vermelho Pharmaceuticals. After quickly adapting to life in America he became known for beith the psychiatrist to the stars.
Ian Doughty a.k.a. DJ ID is an American DJ who’s known for being an EDM Bad Boy. Ian was infamous
for his drug arrest just after high school. He has quite the reputation for having problems with the law, all while trying to make it in the music business. His talent covers for his Drug Addictions allowing him to still capitalize on being a world renound DJ. To this day he keeps making music.
Eve Woodhouse is the daughter of a politician named Adrian Woodhouse, and granddaughter of the deceased actor Guy Woodhouse. However, she didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of her father or grandfather, she wanted to work in Psycatirity. She graduated with top honors from Manhattan’s Chapin School for Girls. When she turned 18 she moves to San Francisco. She attended UC Berkley in their psychology program. After graduating she gets a highly competitive internship working for Dr. Verde. The Director and Writer Jimmie Gonzalez.
