With five artist albums under his belt, Pooley has perfected the balance of classic and contemporary sounds in his ever-evolving production work. With a studio overflowing with analogue gear and two decades of production experience, he is currently enjoying one of the most fruitful periods of his career, with new material drawing more newcomers to his ever-growing fan-base, while classic older cuts are being reintroduced to new generations via mixes on labels such as Ostgut Ton. This mix is going back a few years but is a proper slice of what makes Ian so great and accessible to all dance music fans from house to techno and everything in-between.

Mark Farina - King Midas Mix
Mark Farina has developed his own trademark style, known as "Mushroom Jazz": acid jazz infused with jazzy, organic productions along with urban beats. Mark's downtempo style has grabbed many fans by the heart-strings and led him to start a weekly ‘Mushroom Jazz’ club night in San Francisco. Over the course of 3 years at the club, Mark and Mushroom Jazz established a huge following and when the club finally closed, Farina continued the tradition by releasing a series of mix CDs under the same Mushroom Jazz style. Since then, Mark has been performing worldwide and his House sets are legendary! This (to me) is Chicago House at its absolute BEST - Mark Farina always comes to get down. His signature sound of funky-jackin-disco-filtered House has revolutionized and redefined house music for 20 years and counting. In this mix we can hear Sneak laying down the foundations for his seminal set from ‘WMC’ in Miami back in 2011 !
