Zulu Records was formed in 2012 by My Digital Enemy and now four years later they have reached their 100th release. For this auspicious occasion, who better than My Digital Enemy themselves to release the centennial track, 'Lives Again’ which features the Shanghai-based Producer Kadian.
With extensive radio support and a world premiere on BBC Radio 1's show with Danny Howard and has been supported by the likes of Tiesto, Sander Van Doorn and Benny Benassi to name but a few.
Fusing together elements of House and Garage is something that My Digital Enemy are well known for and the results on this release are begging to be played at many a party over the Christmas season and onwards.
We at Zone Magazine would like to wish them a happy 100th release and look forward to them reaching their 200th, as the label has been such a success so far with 11 tracks reaching the Beatport top 10 and two hitting #1.

Man sentenced to 12 months in prison
for pirating music
A Liverpool man has been given a 12 month prison sentence for illegally distributing music online including 'acapellas' he used for DJ’ing and remixing. On Friday October 7th this year Mr Evans plead guilty to the offense and sentencing was passed on December 16th.
The prosecution was a joint effort by PRS for Music and a specialist national police unit 'PIPCU' that has been set up to protect UK industries that produce legitimate, high quality, physical goods and online and digital content from intellectual property crime.
Detective Constable Steven Kettle, who was in charge of the case, said: “Today’s sentencing will suggest to others that illegally distributing music is not without its consequences. Evans caused significant loss to the music industry and his actions will have effected jobs across the music industry. By working with partners such as PRS for Music we are better able to work collaboratively to ensure the best investigation of people like Evans and ensure that they are brought to justice.”
If you believe you know someone involved in intellectual property crime you can report it anonymously to Crimestoppers online or on 0800 555 111.
