Preliminary Sketch
Ryan Edward is the designer of Maybe Lenormand and Playing Marseille. He plays in the crossroads of design and magic at his studio, Inset, in St. Louis, MO.
For some time I had a concept for The World in my head, an attitude I wanted to evoke, but no clear image in my head. Then lo and behold I come across a video of V on Facebook, with her hoop. Dancing in circles with confidence, jubilant and larger than life she trumps it all, with swagger. There was no better muse for me. She has overcome so much in life while remaining a ray of sunshine. V has been a shot of joy for me at every RS, and I'm glad I get to show her like I see her.
And if the universe wasn't clear enough, the language of the birds had the last laugh. In the video, V was dancing to a song from 'Lemonade' (XXI LE MONDE).

“When we all attend RS, we all come away richer regarding our readings. This is a pre-cursor. The World card will never be the same for me after seeing Ryan Edward's version. After seeing and knowing V's struggle and journey, this card says it all. I have a new, healing view of how we can
work our way through a cycle that expands us, teaches us, gives us growth
in so many ways. And when we hit our peak, when we come to an understanding of what we have been through, we are ready for the next cycle. Shimmy your way through, hoop it up, and never be afraid to be who you are through it all. Good – bad – ugly – work it gurrrrls!
