The Company Must Ensure an Investigation Policy Is Properly Enforced It is not enough to simply have a policy. Companies must use trained investigators to conduct comprehensive and complete investigations. In conducting an investigation, a good investigator will discover facts; assess credibility; form conclusions based on the information discovered; determine whether Company policies were violated; and make the
participants, complainant, and accused feel that the process is fair.
