1.2.2.2. Acquirer Attributes: Transactions That Have Presented National Security Considerations Because of the Identity of the Foreign Person That Is Acquiring Control of a U.S. Business
Similar to the list of targets that create CFIUS risk, the Committee does not limit its reviews to transactions involving acquirers with certain attributes. The Committee has reviewed transactions of many different types of acquirers, so the list below should not be taken to eliminate any one type of acquirer from possible consideration.
