“We played well at the league
showcase despite a 1-2 record. We played three very good teams and all of them could have went either way” added Head Coach Darryl Green.
The NA3HL has their Top Prospects tournament next which is taking place February 26th and 27th in Plymouth Michigan. From the Stars, Cole Archambeault, Greg Moon, and Derek Flynn have been selected for the Central / Coastal Team. Head Coach Darryl Green has been selected to coach the team. Michael Lempiainen was also selected to represent the Stars on the 18U Selects White Team. Congratulations to all players and
very tough choice who to send considering we have a few other 99’s that could have gone also. The playoffs are a couple weeks away so we are looking to be playing our best heading in to the second season. We aren’t sure who we’ll be playing yet and it doesn’t really matter because I believe the 3 other Coastal division playoff teams will provide a tough  rst round match up. We’ll need to be prepared regardless of who it is.”

The 13U team had an
extremely impressive league debut! Finishing the regular season with a 12-2-0-2 record, they would earn a spot in the playoffs. Game 1 they lost to the Red Bank Generals 5-1. Game 2 they beat the Southern CT Stars 3-2. Lastly, game 3 they beat the Pro Tec Ducks 3-1 which would give them enough points to be seeded to the Semi-Final game! In what was a back and forth battle. The Stars would come up just shy, losing 3-1 to the Jersey Colts. The Jersey colts ended up losing in the  nals to Red Bank Generals in overtime.
Congratulations to our U13’s on a very impressive season and we look forward to many more successful seasons as members of the EJEPL!
The U14 team was lead by earning the 14U White Team MVP!
