Northeastern associate head coach Jerry Keefe has been named an assistant coach for the U.S. National Junior Team that will com- pete at the 2019 IIHF World Junior
Championship in Vancouver, Cana-
da.
The Billerica, Mass., native
is entering his eighth year at North- eastern as the 2018-19 college hockey season begins. Prior to join- ing Jim Madigan’s staff, he was an assistant at Brown for two seasons and the head coach at Division 3 program Westfield State for two seasons.
Keefe played college hockey at Providence College from 1996 to 2000 before embarking on a four- year minor pro career that spanned the U.S. and Europe.
