“The nadir designates a moment in time when the sun has reached its lowest
point, and the night is at its darkest
hour. This painting depicts a feeling that washes over you when immersed in the empty, silent, dark steppe. In total isolation within this infinite environment, one can begin to perceive the endless possibilities within. On the threshold of consciousness, the mind opens up to insight, and finds the courage to seek wisdom.”
