Welcome!
WOW. Who could have predicted 2020? It was, to say the least, one for the record books and one to put behind us! But like most “bad” things there is often a silver lining. For the All Iowa Shop Hop, that silver lining is that we discovered YOU (and our stores) LOVE a TWO MONTH shop hop. So, moving forward this annual “Great Sewing Adventure Across Iowa” will be two months during June & July!
Two months allows our hoppers to take MORE time to soak in the “Iowa Nice” our state is so famous for, giving you more time to enjoy the small towns and communities that you are visiting. Plus, more time to spend with friends and family enjoying each other’s company while sharing this hobby.
In 2021, we should all focus on taking time to live in the moment,
take advantage of the little things and especially enjoy the time we
can spend with the people we love! So, call your sister, your quiltsie, your neighbor and plan some days traveling this beautiful state and reconnecting. Call one of our retreat centers and use them as your home base for a girls (and/or guys) night or two sleepover.
This year we have EIGHTY-SIX stores for you to visit, get to know, and enjoy. Be sure to thank them for their investment in this event. 2020 took its toll on them in many ways, so be sure to be kind and support them so that we can ALWAYS touch and feel the fabric in person.
We could not do this event without the support of our industry sponsors. They help us fund it and they supply or sponsor many of the prizes you will have the chance to win. THANK THEM when you get a chance and be sure to support them when you can.
This magazine is an essential part of being able to provide you with the Great Sewing Adventure Across Iowa. We hope you will always purchase a copy (or two) and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Then, use it all YEAR-ROUND.
