From Cotton Shot, Cotton Shot Green + one other green colored fabric:
Cut [4] — 2” 3 4-1/2” (A5)
Cut [2] — 3” 3 3” square cut on diagonal (A5)
From AISH Swirl, Aqua:
Cut [8] — 3-1/2” 3 5”: [4] A9, [4] A10 BLOCK ASSEMBLY:
1. Create the 4 Foundation Paper pieced sections first. You will need to make 4 copies of the foundation paper piecing template. (Found on page 80) Make sure the regstration square on your printed copy measures exactly 1”. Do not “fit to page” when printing. If you are new to foundation paper piecing, watch a tutorial on how to paper piece before you begin.
2. Gather your foundation paper, your fabric cuts for this section, paper scissors, and a glue pen/stick.
3. A glue pen/stick will help keep piece A1 in place as you piece. Sew between number A1 and A2. Then add pieces in numeric order.
4. Once all pieces are added,
trim on the outermost line.
BE CAREFUL if you trim on
the inner line. You have to
make another since you
trimmed off the seam
allowance. Press after each numbered section is added. Make [4]. Each measures 4-1/2” square.
5. Sew two FPP sections together to form a pair. Press the seam. Make [2].
The place to go when you need a little happy.

6. Sew the two pairs together to form the block. Press the seam. Block is complete and measures 8-1/2” square.
