Binding the Bag
1. Line up the top of the lining with the top edge of bag. Pin in place.
2. Measurethedistancearoundthetop.Sewthe 2 strips containing the houses into a circle equaling this measurement.
3. Alongthebottomedgeofthebinding,press the raw edge under between the red stripe and the narrow blue stripe.
4. Place the binding, right side to inside lining, aligning the red strip along the top of the bag. Sew with 3/80 seam allowance.
5. Wrapbindingtooutsideofbagsotopofblue stripe runs along the top outside edge and the red strip is on the inside edge. On front of tote, pin the folded edge of binding to bag and edge stitch.
6. Additionally, stitch in the ditch on each side of the Iowa stripe and at the top of the house stripe.
