oknownasClintSpacewasafoundingmemberofthe1970sBritishgroupMAN.Man formedinNovember1968asareincarnationofWelshrockharmonygroupTheBystanders, Manwererenownedfortheextendedjamsintheirliveperformances.TheMansoundwas amixtureofAmericanWestCoastpsychedelia,progresiverock,andblues.Managedbyup andcomingUKPromoterBarieMarshaltheywentontosecureacontractwithUnited Artistsleadingthem tosupportingshowswithBadfingerandHawkwind.
