PhotoReliefTM
Through Gemini’s innovative technologies, we can use one photograph or several to create a simple and elegant plaque or a breath-taking collage that illus- trates the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
There are several different options available in aluminum and bronze PhotoRelief plaques. All bronze plaques are highlighted using Gemini’s oxidizing tech- nologies to bring out the contrast in the images selected. If Aluminum is selected as the base material, a two-part acrylic polyurethane paint wash is used to enhance the contrast between recessed and highlighted areas. In addition, a full-color Giclee option is also available which can reproduce 1200 dpi full color highlighting on the PhotoReliefTM plaque. While the plaque is guaranteed for a lifetime; the Giclee image is guaranteed for life in indoors or protected applications—and for at least 7 years in most exterior applications. Not available in Flash Bronze aluminum.
