Adhesives
We have tested and approved Chem-Calc 1200 or GE RTV108 squeeze tubes of clear silicone, for installing lighter and smaller letters that are mounted with studs and/or pads. Otherwise, always test your adhesive for the installation situation – and use a quality silicone product.
Lighter and smaller parts can be installed with a quality silicone adhesive.
Heavier and larger letters and plaques should be installed with a “stronger” adhesive than Silicone. Always match your adhesive to the mounting sur- face and product weight. If in doubt, use a stronger industrial adhesive or epoxy – along with appropri- ate anchors and/or additional structural support.
