Specialty Finishes
Gemini has the capability to provide you with numerous specialty finish options for display purposes that are not necessarily fully weatherable. Gemini can make your aluminum look like bronze, and even apply your 1200 dpi full color image to substrates ranging from acrylic to zinc.
Flash Bronze
When your customer needs the look of brushed bronze at the budget of aluminum, you should consider Gemini’s Flash Bronze finish. Although not completely weatherable, this process holds up better than—and is not—a tinted clear coat. Due to inconsistencies in the process, extremely large strokes and logos are not recommended.
Flash Bronze on aluminum plaques - Add 15%
Flash Bronze on cast or flat cut aluminum – Add 35%.

Chrome Finish
Gemini has developed a chrome finish with Gemini’s Lifetime Guarantee. It comes in both a polished and brushed finish. This finish looks best when applied
to any of our round face letters and logos. This unique finish can also be added to our GemLite letters for LED illumination (see page 153). The beauty of chrome with the flexibility of Gemini’s Formed Plastic Letters gives you

GICLÉE
Used extensively in the awards and recognition markets, the Giclée process allows you the ability to apply your 1200 dpi image onto virtually any flat metal or acrylic. The results are picture perfect.

Gold Leaf
Pure 23.5K gold is applied to any of Gemini’s Formed Plastic or Minnesota Letters. The finished result is not matched by any paint, treatment, or other base metal. Gold Leaf is truly the gold standard of the industry. Completely weatherable, installations last a generation before re-leafing is required due to wear and tear in most applications. Round face and prismatic styles are recommended for best results. This process may extend lead times on your order by several days.
