ICYMI: Vice President Kamala Harris Rallies North Carolinians in Fayetteville,
Highlights Stakes of November Election
On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris rallied hundreds of
North Carolinians in Fayetteville as she highlighted the stakes of
November’s presidential election.
Vice President Harris called out Donald Trump, his running mate
J.D. Vance and MAGA Republicans for advocating for extreme and
divisive policies despite their calls for “unity.” The vice president also
shined a spotlight on Trump’s Project 2025 agenda – which would
give him virtually unlimited power, ban abortion nationwide, and hurt
working families in North Carolina and across the country – in stark
contrast to the work she and President Biden are doing to fight for our
communities, freedoms, and democracy.
Vice President Harris’s visit to Fayetteville marked her seventh
trip to the Tar Heel State this year.
Key point from Vice President Harris: “The question we
face is what kind of country do we want to live in. Do we want to live
in a country of freedom, compassion and rule of law? Or a country of
chaos, fear and hate? We each have the power to answer this ques-
tion.”
