ARCHITECT’S INSPIRATION
The location of 1216 Huron places it within one of Chicago’s most charming old Victorian neighborhoods and between the growing vibrant business and residential neighborhoods surrounding. A building that celebrates the historical style of the areas roots and pushes into its future was required. Duplex units planned to provide flexibility and the features necessary for modern living are outwardly expressed in the traditional solid masonry mass sitting on a streamlined metal clad 21st century base. Comfortable within the context of the past and optimistic of the future, 1216 Huron is the architectural expression of the place it inhabits. A place with a beautiful history and an even greater future.
