In the heart of DuPage County, the scenic Village of Glen Ellyn is a prosperous, civic-minded community with much to offer by way of shopping, dining, the arts and entertainment. The village is just 23 miles west of Chicago, which is easily accessible from Glen Ellyn’s downtown Metra station, and is convenient to major highways and airports.
Glen Ellyn’s historic downtown offers a variety of dining choices from casual to gourmet, including American, Irish, Italian, Mexican and Thai food. It is a pedestrian friendly area where a number of family-friendly events are held throughout the year. Farther south, Roosevelt Road is bursting with nationally recognized stores, restaurants and commerce.
The village is convenient to Oakbrook Center, Yorktown Center and Stratford Square Mall. It is also a short drive or Metra commuter train ride from Chicago’s shopping district.
