NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on No- vember 13, 2019 at the City of Orange Cove City Council Chambers, 633 Sixth Street, Orange Cove, California, before the City Council of the City of Orange Cove, and, following the hearing the City Council will consider establishing a proposed ballot initiative for a parcel tax through an amendment to the municipal code to be presented to the quali ed voters on March 3, 2020.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at the time of the hearing, the City Council will receive testimony and evidence concerning a proposed parcel tax to fund the provision of police and re services within the City. The summary of the proposed ordinance is below. A copy of the entire text of the proposed ordinance may be obtained at the of ce of the City Clerk, City of Orange Cove, 633 Sixth Street, Orange Cove, California, 93646.

Ordinance:
Uncodi ed Ordinance No. 2019-006, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Reedley Imposing an Additional Transac- tions and Use Tax to be Administered by the California Depart- ment of Tax and Fee Administration
This Ordinance will set forth the administrative provisions for collect- ing an additional three quarters of one percent (0.75%) transactions and use tax within the City of Reedley, but is conditioned upon and will not become effective unless approved by a majority of the voters at a special municipal election to be held on March 3, 2020. Ordinance No. 2019-006 was adopted by the City Council on October 22, 2019, by the following vote:
