NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sanger City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanger City Hall Council Chamber located at 1700 7th Street, Sanger, California, as part of the citizen participation process, to dis- cuss a possible application for funding under the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CalHome Program - Round Two, authorized by Chapter 84, Statutes of 2000 (SB1656 Alarcon) and codi ed in Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 50650) of Part 2 of Division 31 of the Health and Safety Code (the “statute”) will be al- located to eligible jurisdictions to perform activities related to Owner Occupied Rehabilitation and/or First-Time Home Buyer Mortgage As-
sistance.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to consider an application for Federal funding under the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CalHome Program - Round Two authorized by Chap- ter 84, Statutes of 2000 (SB1656 Alarcon) and codi ed in Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 50650) of Part 2 of Division 31 of the Health and Safety Code (the “statute”). Funds available under this grant can be utilized Owner Occupied Rehabilitation including repair, rehabilitation or reconstruction of single family residential units and accessory dwelling units, junior accessory dwelling units or manufac- tured homes and/or First-Time Home Buyer Mortgage Assistance in- cluding gap nancing to income eligible households for the purchase of single family residential units, including home, accessory dwelling units or junior accessory dwelling units.
This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 11 of the Governor’s Executive Order N-25-20 which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act, and as a response to mitigating the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will not be open to the public.
