“It takes us about 10 minutes to fix one arrange- ment and we keep moving, load them into the truck so they are ready to go,” said Elyssa Cazares, florist with Aurora’s. “Valentine’s Day is really busy, but Mother’s Day is almost busier. Also, there are two Mother’s Days, the Mexican Mother’s Day and then Mother’s Day celebrated here, so it’s twice as busy.”
Nunez said they began to see an increase in busi- ness at the beginning of February and sales have steadily climbed since then.
“We aren’t working really long hours just yet,”

said Nunez. “But once Valentine’s Day is here they will be. Valentine’s Day here will be a lot of fun for us, and it’s going to be very busy, too.”
