Raul Alvarez
Raul Alvarez of Di- nuba died Feb. 25. He was 54.
Mr. Alvarez worked in maintenance.
He is survived by his parents, one son, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
A rosary will be held at 9 a.m. followed by mass at 10 a.m. on Fri- day, March 6, at St. Cath- erine of Siena Catholic Church in Dinuba.
Dopkins Dinuba Fu- neral Chapel is handling the services.
Franklin Hindle Bennett
Franklin Hindle Ben-
nett of Squaw Valley died Feb. 27 in Fresno. He was 89.
Mr. Bennett worked as a cosmetologist.
He is survived by his wife Susan Bennett, five children and four step- daughters.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in June 2020 at Bear Mountain Library and Activity Center in Squaw Valley.
Dopkins Funeral Chapel is handling the services.
Betty Ruth Harris
Betty Ruth Harris of Orange Cove died Feb. 28 in Fresno. She was 91.
Mrs. Harris worked as a floor lady.
She is survived by two daughters, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand- child.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Mon- day, March 16, at Dop- kins Dinuba Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.

Shirley Schuil of Di- nuba died March 2. She was 89.
Mrs. Schuil worked as a realtor and was the former reading and re- source specialist for the Cutler-Orosi School Dis- trict.
She is survived by three sons, two daugh- ters, one brother, 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 9, at the Dinuba Presbyterian Church under the direc- tion of Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel.

Elisa Vela of Cutler died Feb. 27. She was 82.
Mrs. Vela was a home- maker and also worked as a farmworker.
She is survived by four sons, three daugh- ters, 27 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
Visitation and rosary were held March 4, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cutler. A funeral mass was held March 5 at St. Mary's Church, followed by a graveside service at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

The Sanger District Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Blossom Trail Festival this Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Sanger.
The event will feature food, crafts, music, kids activities, a 10k run as well as Webber Real- ty Group’s 14th Annual Blossom Trail Festival Car Show and the city’s 3rd Annual Blossom Trail Lego Car Show.
The Car Show will be held at Brehler Square in Sanger and will feature cars in a wide array of categories. Registration for the car show is $25 and can be done by calling the Sanger Cham- ber of Commerce.
This year’s Lego Car Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
with judging to begin at noon. Four age categories will be avail- able for the Lego Car Show, ages 7-8, 9-11, 12-17 and 18 and over. There is a $5 entry fee and tro- phies will be awarded to first and second place in each age category

There's still time to sign up for the annual Kings River Blossom Bike Ride through ru- ral country north of Reedley.
Pre-registration is closed, but same day signups are available for $60 per rider for the 31st annual event — hosted by the Reedley Lions Club — on Sat-
urday, March 7. The races start and finish at the Reedley College east parking lot on campus.
Race times are 7:30 a.m. (60-mile ride), 8:30 a.m. (45-mile) and 9:30 a.m. for the 20-mile ride and Family Fun Ride through Reedley.
The registration booth is in the lawn area just west of the parking lot off Reed Avenue.

Reyes Trujillo 75, of Reedley, CA, loving husband of Mary Trujillo, passed away on February 26, 2020. He is
survived by his two daughters Audrie Martinez, Samantha Robledo, four grandchildren and
 ve great grandchildren.
Reyes worked for Parlier Uni ed School District as
Manager of Transportation for 30+ years until retiring. He had a passion for woodworking, loved camping with his family, amongst many other adventures.
Reyes was very involved with the Lions Clubs in Parlier, Selma, and Visalia Charter Oaks.
Reyes will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4th 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Reedley, CA. Rosary will be at 9:30 AM with mass immediately following.
