"JT was awesome for us all season and had a great career here at Immanuel," Franco said. "Our goal when JT was a freshman was to take him and turn him into a "big game pitcher" by his ju- nior year.
"It took months and months of work in the off season, but he did it. JT has worked incredibly hard to achieve this and we are very proud of him."
Senior infielder/pitcher Rosales was a hitting and pitching standout for IHS, bat- ting .431 with 44 hits, a team- high 36 RBI and nine triples while scoring 31 runs. On the mound, he went a stellar 8-1 with a 0.84 ERA, striking out 94 and walking 30.
"Roman is one of the most feared hitters in our league and one of the most pure hit- ters that I have seen here at Immanuel," Franco said. "He is a natural, and feels at home in the batters box. I enjoyed watching him slow the game down and move pitch by pitch in each of his at bats.
"Roman was a lot of fun to coach and watch grow and mature. I am excited to see what the future holds for him in college baseball."
Senior outfielder Wood led the team in hitting with a .454 average, collecting 44 hits and 21 RBI while stealing 20 bases in 22 attempts. Defensively, he made just one error in 50 total chances while registering two outfield assists.

With the Riverhounds, Velarde has played in all eight of the team's matches and has one goal and no as- sists. The team has had a number of matches post- poned because of inclement weather since opening the season in March.
