I began to research “squatters right’s” in California. Yes that is such a thing. I was shocked. I read that squatters cannot be easily removed from a home once they assume residence. In certain cases, homeowners have paid them to leave the property. In other cases, evictions have had to be filed. Unbelievable.

Dinuba Christian Church plans its Vacation Bible School from July 21 to July 25. Cordoba said she’s the only one on her family who’s traveled via airplane. She said she traveled to Costa Rica with Rustic Pathways, an organization that incorporates service and adventure, fundraising to make it happen.
Ruiz, who is heavily into sports, said she enjoys passing on her knowledge. She has coached baseball and played soccer. In the gym one recent afternoon, she offered tips to a trio of kids playing soccer. “This is one of my favorite parts,” she said. “Teaching them to do a crossover in basketball or a rainbow kick with a soccer ball.”
