• Two Dinuba men were arrested in the 1700 block of East El Monte Way just after 10 a.m. for suspected assault with a deadly weapon. Alfred Carrillo, 41, and Oldair Negrete. 20, both allegedly used baseball bats to strike victims. Both men had bail set
The Reedley Police Department handled 577 public-initiated and officer-initiated calls for service, with 93 dis- patched as Priority 1 calls. Officers completed 108 police reports, made 22 arrests and issued 36 traffic citations. There were no traffic collisions and five DUI cases, nine fire calls and 20 medical aid calls.

Del Puppo, a resident of Sanger,
passed away on August 7, 2021
at age of 70. He is survived by his wife Margie of Sanger, his sisters Claudette Schmid of Fremont, CA and Loretta Hutton of Fresno along with nieces and nephews.
After gradating from Sanger High school in 1969 Michael enlisted in the US Army and served his country in Vietnam. Returning home Michael continued his service to the community as a police officer for Sanger, Orange Cove, Selma, and a Deputy for the US Marshal service. Michael was involved with Fresno County Fire Protection district serving as the board president.

Jared (“Jay”) Robert Peyton passed away on July 19, 2021 in Sanger, CA at the age of 36. Jared was born on June 24, 1985, and raised in Sanger, CA. Jared attended school in Sanger Unified. As a child, Jared attended Fairmont, was active in Boy Scouts of America and played trumpet in the band. In high school, Jared played football. Following his graduation, Jared traveled to Cambodia, worked in car sales, and as a mechanic at DeWayne’s Garage in Sanger, where he became the owner and chief operator. Jared lived on the farm where he was raised, assisting with almond production.
Jared was passionate about learning, exploring new things, and connecting with anyone. He had a curiosity in exploring new foods and experiences, and had a lifelong interest in learning about religion and philosophy. Jared enjoyed his conversations and relationships with friends, family, customers, and strangers. His interest in connecting with others led him to become a support to others.
Jared is survived by his father, DeWayne Peyton, grandmother, Pearl Rebensdorf, siblings Anna Lopez and Michael Peyton, sister-in-law Bethany Peyton, brother-in-law Diego Lopez, and his 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Terry

Celia Ramirez Bledsoe September 2, 1941 ~ August 4, 2021
It’s with heavy heart that I make the announcement of the passing of Celia Ramirez Bledsoe on August 4, 2021. She was born to Andres and Tomasa Ramirez on September 2, 1941 in Centerville, Fremont, California. She was the oldest of six chil- dren that were born to them.
In 1952 the family moved to a ranch in Orosi, California, where Celia would work on the ranch and help to take care of
her siblings. In 1972, she married Samuel Martin Bledsoe Sr, and in the following year in September, gave birth to her only child, Samuel Martin Bledsoe Jr. Celia did a lot of work within the com- munities of Orosi and Dinuba, where she was a lifelong resident, and was an active member in the VFW auxiliary. She worked as
a bookkeeper for F.E. Viscarra Contractor for 20 plus years. She also loved to do arts and crafts, loved to make cakes and do things for the community.
When her first grandchild came into the world, she was there, She was always there for her family, and her friends. After her husband’s passing, she never remarried, but took care of Kenneth Loy for 7 years.
Celia is survived by her son, Samuel Martin Bledsoe Jr,
along with his wife Suzanne Elizabeth Bledsoe both of Dinuba. Grandchildren, Sally Michele Bledsoe Salacup and her husband Eric of Dinuba, Ava Liana Christy Bledsoe of Dinuba, Logan Michael Martin Bledsoe of Dinuba. Celia siblings are, Andres C Ramirez Jr. with wife Angie of Burke Virginia, Francisco Ramirez with wife Karen of Carmichael California, Rebecca C. Ramirez of Dinuba, Amelia Phillips with husband Ray of Haven Kansas. Various nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Martin Bledsoe senior. Her parents Andres B Ramirez and Tomasa C Ramirez. Her sister Dolores Regan with husband Cecil of Dinuba.
Services for Mrs. Bledsoe will be held on August 13th, 2021 in Dinuba, California, and will be coordinated through Dopkins Memorial Chapel, where more information can be obtained. Burial services will be held privately.
