practice fireworks safety on Fourth
Contributed
The city of Reedley wants to remind those setting off fireworks over the upcoming Fourth of July holiday to take the necessary steps and pre- cautions to keep them- selves and others safe.
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission rec- ommends that you only buy consumer fireworks from a licensed store or stand. Never buy fire- works from an individu- al’s house, or from some- one on the street, as such fireworks are likely to be illegal explosives that can seriously injure you.
Consumer fireworks regulated by the Con- sumer Product Safety Commission are pack- aged in bright colors, have safety warnings, and display a State of California seal on the packaging. The packag- ing also sets forth the country of origin, which normally is China. Typi- cal consumer fireworks

In Loving Memory
Rudy M. Lopez
Son,
It’s been seven years now and time has not healed
our hearts, we just hold on to the memories you
left behind. The days will pass, and turn into
years, but we will forever remember you with
silent tears. You will never be forgotten, we will never say “Goodbye.” We’ll just say, “I’ll see until we meet again.” Love you so much “Rudy.”
Miss you always, Mom and Dad

MY ANGEL
To my dear angel in heaven I just want you to know
That you are always in my thoughts And how much I love you so.

But when I get to heaven
He will give you back to me. Love Mom
