A 28-point outburst in the first quarter pow- ered the Reedley High Pirates to their third consecutive non-league football victory, a 42-13 rout of the Woodlake High Tigers at Sal Gon- zalez Field on Sept. 3.
Ryan Warkentin scored three touch- downs, two rushing, while Josh Gonzalez add- ed a 67-yard interception return as RHS dominat- ed the early stages of the game. Senior Warkentin scored on runs of 57 and 52 yards, and added a 58-yard TD reception from quarterback Ja- cob Rocha. Warkentin has 534 yards rushing and nine touchdowns in three games this season.
Once again, Reed- ley's defense and spe- cial teams helped bol- ster the team's scoring. In addition to Gonzalez' pick six, Zach Lampa re-

had been decided. Ju- nior Cervantes had two touchdowns passes for Woodlake (0-3).
A shortage of offici- ating crews has caused a number of games to be moved to either Thurs- day or Saturday. Reed- ley is affected this week, as the non-league home game with Mendota
High has been moved up a day to Thursday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. The Pirates then travel to Selma on Friday, Sept. 17.
