Dick Sheppard/Sanger Herald
"The Honoring Sanger project seeks to honor those who don't ordinarily receive the thanks they deserve for all they do," said founder Adam Albrecht. Memory Bears, keepsake Teddy Bears, with inscribed information about the recipients accomplishments were Albrecht's way of saying "thanks" on April 7 in the Harding School portion of the Sanger Depot Museum to, L-R: Ronnie Scott (Spotlight Award); Christine Erickson (Golden Heart Award); Kathleen Mattox (Legend Award); Doris Knowlton (Thank You Award); Albrecht; Marilyn Johnson - (Angel Award) accepted by Johnson's daughter Carolyn Vance; Toni Avila Sanchez (Golden Heart Award); SAM Academy's Jerry and Bernadette Valadez (Spotlight Award); and Terrance McArthur (Thank You Award).
