Joseph Elizondo Jr.
A graveside service for Mr. Joseph Elizondo Jr. of Sanger will be held at 9 a.m. on May 11 at the Sanger Cemetery. It will be followd by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church in Sanger.
Mr. Elizondo, 82, died May 4, 2018. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren clergy.
He is survived by wife Mary Elizondo of Sanger; sons
Joseph Elizondo III of Sanger, Nathan and Israel Elizondo of Fresno and Michael Elizondo of Waterford; daughters JoAnn Mares of Sanger and Heigi Gonzalez of Visalia; brothers Antonio and Feliz Elizondo of Fresno and Benjamin Elizondo of Stockton; sisters Mary Payan of Salnger, Angela Banuelos of Fresno and Tomasita Castilleja and Juanita Elizondo of Dinuba; and 14 grandchildren.
Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Driver Antonio Chapa was arrested Satur- day night after crashing his car, below, into a yard - and almost into a house - in the 1500 block of 5th Street.
Chapa was being detained by neighbors when police arrived. He was arrested after

officers determined he had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
Chapa was driving north on O Street and turned west on 5th Street. He was unable to negotiate the turn and drove through a fence and into a yard, narrowly missing the home.
No one was injured, said police

Our mother went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2018.
She was born May 13, 1933.
She was a devoted moth- er. Her grandchildren always called her Grandma Chula.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Maria Lourdes (Lou) Mendez-Cas- taneda. She is survived by daughters, Olga Mendieta, Maria Dominquez, Maribel Allison, Alma Delia Parson
and sons Uvaldo Castaneda Jr and Jaime Castaneda. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren.
We are wishing you Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day. You will be greatly missed.
