"It was well planned. Everything went smoothly," said Penner. "We got through the opening ceremony, a silent auction and 20 inductees and we still ended the event just a little after 9 p.m."

Penner summed it up: "The committee will
get together again in late May to critique the first event and then we'll start planning for the next induction dinner.
"We're hoping people will be inspired by last week's event and will stop by the high school to pick up nomination forms that will add to the list of nominees we already have to consider.
"Everyone nominated will remain on a list of possible inductees for five years."
Committee members include Penner, Del Beshore, Ron Blackwood, Michelle Dillon, Jodi Flores, Tim Lopez, Ken Marcantonio, Tom Nicholson, Ronnie Scott and Dick Shep- pard.
