It was reported at 8:24 a.m. • A commercial bur- glary was reported in the 100 block of North L Street at 3:18 p.m. Glass to a business was reportedly shattered. • A domestic violence report was made in the 1900 block of North Alta Avenue at 4:07 p.m. The female caller was re- portedly hiding in the bushes and told officers a male subject was try- ing to kill her. The Reedley police department handled 505 public-initiated and offi- cer-initiated calls for ser- vice, with 91 dispatched as Priority 1 calls. She joins her parents Gerald and Penny McKiney, leaving behind her twin sister Lonna Mulkey (Daniel), her brother Frank McKiney (Kristi), her sons James (Amparo) and Brian Lee (Shanna), nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, four nieces and nephews, and  ve great nieces and nephews. Donna grew up in the small town of Avenal, moving to Fresno a er high school to raise her children and  nally settling down in Reedley. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, was an active member of her church and loved to volunteer most recently at the local museum and the community garden. She had two professional careers in her life, the  rst was the banking industry where she started as a teller and worked her way up to manager, and she spent the second part of her career working in various roles with Fresno City College until  nally retiring from the Reedley College Bookstore. As an adult she went back to Fresno Paci c University to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, an accomplishment of which she was very proud. A celebration of her life will be held on September 14, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Community Church in Reedley.
