The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Admin- istration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the City of Orange Cove to construct Off-Site Improvements at the Northwest Corner of Park Boulevard and Anchor Avenue (the “Proj- ect”) in the City of Orange Cove, Fresno County, California. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/ or historic properties.
The project includes the construction of a new 10-inch sewer main along Park Boulevard, a new 24-inch storm drain along Park Bou- levard, and street improvements to Park Boulevard and Anchor Av- enue, included street widening, installation of curb and gutter, side- walk, drive approaches, and streetlights. The project will be located at the Northwest corner of Park Boulevard and Anchor Avenue. Ap- proximately 300 feet of the construction are of the proposed sewer main to serve the Project is within Floodplain Zone AO ( ood depths of 1 to 3 feet). e surface of the roadway will be restored to the pre- construction elevation so as to not affect the surrounding properties. Project information is available for review at the City’s Engineers Of- ce, AM Consulting Engineers, 5150 North Sixth Street, Suite 124 Fresno, CA 93710 and (559) 473-1371.

The Board of Trustees of the Kings Canyon Uni ed School District of Fresno County, California invites and will receive sealed proposals for BID NO. 1907 for the award of District Fleet Vehicle Replace- ment on or before 2:00 PM, on October 8, 2019 at the Purchasing Department located at 1502 I Street Reedley, California 93654, after
which time and place the bids will be opened and read in public.
Bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, cashier’s check or certi ed check in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). The bidder’s bond or certi ed check shall be made pay- able to the Kings Canyon Uni ed School District and shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract if awarded the work, and will be declared forfeited, paid to, or retained by the District as liquidated damages if the bidder refuses or neglects to enter into a contract on the terms of the accepted proposal within fourteen (14) calendar days after bidders noti cation of District’s acceptance of the proposal.
