Back in action and back in full form, Sanger High's Kosi Agina made the best of his extended playing time for the Apaches. The senior running back ran for 119 yards on nine carries. He also scored two touchdowns, including a 60-yard break away run that put the Apaches up 21-0 in the second quarter.

ried the ball nine times for 119 yards and the two score.
His first score came on a break- away run along the visitor’s sideline in the second quarter, taking it 60 yards to the house. His number was called up again on a goal line play three minutes into the third quarter as he punched it in from 1-yard out to help give his team a 28-0 lead.
Also getting in on the act was sopho- more running back Ashton Rodriguez, scoring on a 3-yard run in the third quarter. Rodriguez was one of seven
backs to run the ball for the Apaches. He finished with eight carries for 62 yards and the one score.
Also carrying the ball eight times was senior running back Pierce Jones. He finished with 64 yards on the night.
Junior running back Morgan Privett had four carries during the game for 56 yards. He also had one catch in the fourth quarter that he turned into a 14-yard touchdown re- ception to put the Apaches up 42-0.
It was a dominant victory for Sanger. They finished with a total of 416 yards on offense, 314 yards rush- ing and 102 yards passing - with Col- lazo going 7 of 9 with three touch- downs.
Meanwhile, on defense, the Apach- es held the Stallions to just 58 yards of total offense and only allowed five first downs during the game.
Senior defensive end Gabriel Ol- mos turned in a solid performance against the Stallions. He finished the night with eight tackles, two sacks and one blocked punt.
Sanger’s big victory comes as the Apaches prepare to take on two tough opponents at home to finish the regu- lar season. Tomorrow night the team will host the Edison Tigers in a must win to keep Sanger’s league champion- ship hopes alive.
The Tigers, though 3-5 on the sea- son, were on a three-game winning
streak before running into league leader San Joaquin Memorial on Fri- day night. The Panthers defeated Edi- son 49-7.
San Joaquin Memorial, currently the No. 2 ranked team in Division 2, takes on Madera tomorrow night. Bar- ring an unlikely upset by the Coyotes, if Sanger were to beat Edison tomor- row night, they would need to defeat the Panthers at home on Nov. 1 for a shared league championship.
Sanger is currently the No. 4 ranked team in Division 2.
Tomorow night's game against Edi- son is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be played at Tom Flores Sta- dium.
