Rodriguez powers RC volleyball to sweep of Columbia

Sophomore Nikole Rodri- guez recorded 28 kills to lead the Reedley College women’s volleyball Tigers to a straight set win over the Columbia Col- lege Claim Jumpers on Oct. 13 in Reedley.
The Tigers never trailed in each of the three sets as they recorded a 25-13, 25-12, 25-8 victory. The Central Valley Conference match took exact- ly one hour to complete. The head coaches of both teams missed the match for various reasons.
Madison Leighty coached the Lady Tigers, who picked up their first CVC win. Colum- bia dropped to 0-7 in confer- ence play and 1-13 overall.
