Yes, Virginia, there is a correct way to make a left turn at 7th and N streets
If you're like most Sanger drivers, you may have won- dered about the correct way to turn left at the intersection of 7th and N streets in downtown Sanger. That's where a large, lighted Christmas tree is parked right in the middle of the intersection. You're supposed to enter the intersection and drive just past the tree before making a very sharp left turn, being careful not to break any boughs or get tangled with any ornaments. You probably should also hope other drivers can figure out what you're doing before they run into you. Really! Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas.

Maria Carbajal
A funeral mass for Mrs. Maria R. Carbajal of Del Rey was celebrated on Nov. 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger.
Mrs. Carbajal, 86, died Nov. 21, 2017. She was a homemak- er.
She is survived by sons Silvano of Fowler and Lionel of Del Rey; daughters Berta of La Cresenta, Rachel of Sanger, JuanitaofFresno, YsmaineofClovis,MaryofDelReyand Olivia of Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
Mrs. Carbajal was preceded in death by her husband Ben- jamin; daughter Sophie; and sister Esther.

Rosa Garcia
The holy rosary will be recited for Mrs. Rosa Garcia of Sanger at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home and a funeral mass for Mrs. Garcia will be celebrated the next day, Dec. 8, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger.
Mrs. Garcia, 79, died Nov. 26, 2017. She was a grader for Ito Packing.
She is survived by daughters Diamantina Hindman of Fresno, Rachael Kimberling of Wyoming and Esther Parker of Del Rey; brothers Juan, Arturo, David, Luz and Rogelio Tamez, all of Mexico; sister Elva Tamez of Mexico; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildre.
Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband Genaro Garcia; son Angel Garcia; and sister Aurora Tamez.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the funeral home.

Jimmy Robinson Sr.
A chapel service for Mr. Jimmy Samuel Robinson Sr. of Sanger will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 8 at Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Smith Mountain Cem- etery.
Mr. Robinson, 82, died Nov. 30, 2017. He was a minister.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Dec. 8 at the funeral home.

Abraham Sanchez Jr.
A wake for Mr. Abraham Sanchez Jr. of Sanger was held on Nov. 30 at Bethel Church in Sanger and a church service for Mr. Sanchez was held on Dec. 1 at Bethel Church.
Mr. Sanchez, 58, died Nov. 16, 2017. He was a production worker for Anland Windows.
He is survived by wife Sylvia L. Sanchez of Sanger; sons Abraham "Abie" Sanchez III and Jonathon A. Sanchez, both of Sanger and Christopher Sanchez of Pennsylvania; daughter Marissa Sanchez Lemos of Sanger; sisters Emily Paderes, Ali- cia Esparza and Christina Avalos; mother Josefina Sanchez of Sanger; and six grandchildren.

William Wood
A memorial service for Mr. William Franklin Wood of Sanger will be held at a later date.
Mr. Wood, 84, died Nov. 29, 2017. He was a self employed truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Dora L. Wood of Sanger; sons Billy Wood of Sanger and Greg Wood of Clovis; daughters Di- ana Orozco and husband George of Sanger, Georgiana Wood of Clovis and Tammy Wood of Cambria; brother Robert Wood of the United Kingdom; sisters Paulette Dooms and husband Sam of Visalia and Peggy Ramsey and husband Muggs of Visalia; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his daughter JoAnn Brenner; and sister in law Elizabeth Wood.
