Charles Henry Greer
Charles Henry Greer was born January 15, 1934 in Shreveport, LA. He passed away on Oct. 24, 2018 in Clo- vis, CA. Charlie graduated from Sanger High School in 1952 where he was the win- ning pitcher for Sanger as they won the San Joaquin Valley Baseball Championship. He went on to play at the semi- professional level with the Dodgers in Santa Barbara and his team were inducted into

Manuel Aguila-Avila
The holy rosary will be recited for Mr. Manuel Aguila- Avila of Sanger at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home and a funeral mass will be celebrated for him at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger.
Mr. Aguila-Avila, 65, died Nov. 2, 2018. He was a mainte- nance mechanic for Wawona Packing Company.
He is survived by brothers Emerico and Daniel Aquila of Fresno and Sergio Aguila of Sanger; sister Socorro Cruz of Sanger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Mr. Aguila-Avila was preceded in death by his brothers Samuel and Armando Aguila; sisters Rebecca and Maria De La Luz Aguila; and parents Alejandro and Isabel Aguila.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the funeral home.

Uvaldo Castaneda
A church service for Mr. Uvaldo A. Castaneda of Sanger will be held at 10 a.m. on Nov. 13 at the Tabernacle of Praise
Christian Center in Sanger.
Mr. Castaneda, 84, died Nov. 3, 2018. He was a maintenance
person for Anderson and Clayton Cotton.
He is survived by his wife Elida Castaneda of Sanger;
sons Uvaldo Castaneda Jr. of Riverside, Jaime Castaneda
of Fresno and Martin Castaneda of Texas; daughters Olga Mendieta of Sanger, Maria Dominguez of Las Vegas, Maribel Allison of Costa Mesa, Alma Parson of Lake Forest and Leti- cia Castaneda of Texas; and stepdaughter Yolanda De Leon of Sanger; stepsons Danny Garza Jr. of Sanger and Jaime Garza of Poway; his brothers and sisters; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Mr. Castaneda was preceded in death by his parents Ro- man and Catarina Castaneda; and daughter Maria Lourdes Mendez.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10 a.m. on Nov. 13 at the Taber- nacle of Praise Christian Center in Sanger.

Rosario Guizar
A rosary and funeral mass for Mrs. Rosario Guizar of Sanger are scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 14 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger.
Mrs. Guizar, 76, died Nov. 4, 2018. She was a packer for Kaprielian Bros. Packing Co.
She is survived by daughter Veronica Lopez and husband Fi- del of Sanger; brothers Jose Angel Torres of Texas and Roberto and Raul Torres of Parlier; sister Lupe Pedraza of Florida; and grandson Andrew Lopez of Parlier.
Mrs. Guizar was preceded in death by her first husband Je- sus De Los Santos; her second husband Jose Guizar; and son Jesse De Los Santos.

He worked for the Sanger Unified School District as Director of Transportation. He was involved in baseball for many seasons. In the summer he helped manage the Greer’s Fruit Stand. As a member of the Sanger Eagles Club he enjoyed the friendship and pleasure of their many service projects. He was Sanger’s Downtown Santa Claus for 14 years.
He especially enjoyed his five grandchildren. While a resident of a convalescent hospital he was a champion Bingo player, winning many prizes for the little ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae and Ce- cil Greer, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Clovis, his children David Greer of Concord, Cheryl Ing of Sanger, Dr. Raymond Greer of Clovis, and Tammie Harris, of Clovis, and his grandchil- dren Jonathan Greer of Concord, Megan Greer of Santa Barbara, Ryan Greer of Concord, Lindsay Harris and Allie Harris of Clovis.
A memorial will be held at the Sanger Eagles Hall on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
