The ordinance prohibits the use of electronic cigarettes and other devices used to deliver nicotine or other substances through such devices. The ordinance expands the de nition of smoking that is prohibited in and around all public areas, buildings, playgrounds, and recreational areas and as further set forth in the statute to include electronic and vaping devices. The ordinance allows for signage and enforcement as a general penalty under the Code. The Ordinance will become effective thirty (30) days after the date of its passage.
