Beautiful Belle, below, with flowers in her hair, is hoping you'll adopt her and give her a forever home.
She's a husky mix, 1-2 years old, with a perpetual smile and a willingness to play, walk or hug and cuddle. Jojo, Lily and Buster, right, are also still available.
You can meet them all this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tractor Supply Co. in Clovis at a special adoption event.
The Tractor Supply Co. is on Herndon Avenue just west of Fowler Avenue.

tation seemed to be that the opportuni- ties are primarily with smaller retailers and maybe a hotel developer. The chal- lenges are with larger retailers because Sanger does not yet have the popula- tion density nor the average household income they are looking for.
That prompted Martinez to ask for a staff report on what the city is doing to attract more residential subdivision developers.
In other council matters
• the council approved requests
from the police and fire departments to destroy public records, with the excep- tion of records that might be related to a proposed Measure S compliance audit;
• the council declined a request by the police chief to send a letter to the
ABC opposing modification of sanctions against a local tavern;
• the council unanimously approved moving forward with development of "gateway" signs;
• the council approved purchase of a prefabricated concrete restroom, not to exceed a cost of $161,812.88 for Veterans Park;
• the council approved doing a fire station feasibility study with RRM Design Group; and,
• acting as the Successor Agency
to the Sanger Redevelopment Agency, the board approved selling a five
acre parcel in the Sanger Kings River Technology Park to the Sanger Unified School District.
Prior to the start of its regular busi-
ness meeting, during the public forum, the council heard from Melissa Reyna who wanted an opportunity to discuss with the council the city's 2003 General Plan which showed a proposed sports complex to be built prior to 2025. The council agreed to put the matter on an agenda for a future meeting.
Sue Simpson, Jerry Valadez and Melissa Griggs had comments about communication problems between the council and the Measure S Citizens Oversight Committee and James Miser accused the city of being in violation of the Freedom of Information Act.
