Sanger High and current Fresno State player Kofi Agina (6) battled DInuba High in a Central Section Division II playoff on Nov. 8, 2019. That was the last time the Apaches played a game in Tom Flores Stadium. That drought will end with a scrimmage against Clovis High at 6 p.m. Friday, March 12.
 Running at Ridge Creek
Dinuba High hosted its lone home cross county meet of the season on March 4, enter- taining 14 other schools in the Ridge Creek Classic at Ridge Creek golf course. Since COVID-19 restrictions prevented single boys and girls races for the varsity, the meet was divided into seven separate dual race events on a 2-mile layout east and north of the golf course. The Emperors competed against Washington Union in an early-afternoon dual. Other schools participating were Reed- ley, Immanuel, Selma, Monache, Strathmore, Avenal, Garces, Kingsburg, Exeter, Coalinga, Hanford West and Tulare Union.
