Monday, February 7
• A vehicle stop at 2 a.m. in the 200 block of South L Street resulted in the arrest of a Dinuba man two active warrants and a suspended license be- cause of a prior DUI.
• Smoke from a fire was reported at 8:56 s.m. on the west side of Ed De- na's Auto near the field in the 1500 block of West El Monte Way.

        Alicia Deanne Pierce
Mrs. Alma (Hayes) Parkinson of Sanger passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022 in Fresno at the age of 92. Mrs. Parkinson was born October 26, 1929 in her family home in Milltown County Kerry, Ireland to Richard and Lilian Hayes, the youngest of six children. In 1957 she moved to the United States and settled in Pasadena, California. In 1959 her future husband Frederick Parkinson followed to be with the one he loved and on May 7, 1960 they married and made their home in San Gabriel, California. Alma worked as a bank teller for Bank of America for over 30 years. In 1990 and after retiring, Fred and Alma moved to Sanger, California where they remained until most recent time. Alma was a devout Christian and loved the Lord.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frederick Parkinson of Sanger. She is also survived by her extended family in Ireland as well as many beloved friends.
A Funeral Rosary and Mass will be held Tuesday February 22, 2022, rosary to begin at 11:30am and mass at 12:00pm at the New St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger, California, followed by a graveside at Sanger Cemetery. Funeral Services are entrusted to Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home.

Your wife, Guillermina, your daughters, Monica an RDA, Joanne a 7th grade English Language Arts Teacher, Jocelyn a Sales Operations Specialist at Google and sons, Jose Angel an accountant at Fresno State, Eli a student at Reedley College, and your grandson, William Badasci
Jose was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico in a small town of Tlaquepaque. His father, Jesus De Anda still lives alongside his five brothers and five sisters
Jose De Anda worked 26 years as a Janitor in the Sanger Unified School District for Del Rey Elementary School.
A father and husband very dedicated to his family, always motivated his children in their education. His sense of humor was a quality that he leaves in his children. We miss you and we will always love you.
