Tommy Burciaga
Tommy "Buddha" Bur- ciaga of Selma died July 1. He was 37.
Mr. Burciaga worked as a caregiver.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Leos; father, Joseph Burciaga, one son and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Faith Tabernacle Church in Selma. A fu- neral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Faith Tabernacle Church in Selma.
Margarita Carranza
Margarita Carranza of Dinuba died July 9 in Visa- lia. She was 81.
Mrs. Carranza worked as a fruit packer.
She is survived by four sons, five daughters, 33 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. with wake service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Dopkins Dinuba Fu- neral Chapel. A chapel ser- vice will be at 10 a.m. Fri- day, July 19, at Dopkins Di- nuba Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Smith Mountain

80.
Mrs. Gonzalez worked
as a farm laborer.
She is survived by three
sons and five daughters. Visitation and rosary were held July 16 at Dop- kins Dinuba Funeral Cha- pel. A funeral service was held July 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cutler. Burial was at Smith Moun-
tain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Irma Ortega
Irma Ortega of Orosi died July 4 in Visalia. She was 57.
Mrs. Ortega worked as a fruit packer.
She is survived by her husband, Federico Ortega Jr., two sons and nine grand- children.
Visitation will be from 4 to8p.m.witharosaryat6 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at St. Mart's Catholic Church in Cutler. A mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Smith Moun- tain Cemetery in Dinuba.

• If you have a Medicare Supple- ment Insurance (Medigap) policy, check your policy to see if it includes cover- age when traveling outside the U.S.
• If you have Medicare Advantage or another Medicare health plan (in- stead of Original Medicare), check with your plan to see if it offers coverage outside the U.S.
• Consider buying a travel insurance policy that includes health coverage.
In some cases, Medicare may cover
medically necessary health care ser- vices you get on board a ship within the territorial waters adjoining land areas of the U.S. Medicare won't pay for health care services you get when a ship is more than 6 hours away from a U.S. port.
Medicare also may pay for inpatient hospital, doctor, ambulance services, or dialysis you get in a foreign country in

Injuries, arrest in Reedley DUI crash

Two vehicles were in- volved in a July 13 crash that severely injured one person and resulted in the arrest of a driver for sus- pected DUI.
The crash occurred just after 9:30 p.m. at the inter- section of Frankwood and Parlier avenues in north Reedley. Reedley police an- nounced that Axel Lopez, 21, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing an inju- ry, as well as two counts of child endangerment.
The unidentified driver of the other vehicle in the crash was airlifted to Com- munity Regional Medical Center in Fresno with major injuries. His condition was unknown as of July 16.
Emergency crews from Reedley Fire Department and Sequoia Safety Council responded to treat the in- jured.

Norma Love Spurgeon
August 23, 1951 — July 2, 2019
Norma Love Spurgeon passed away on July 2nd in Stockton, California at the age of 67 years.
Norma was born in Kos- ciusko, Mississippi on August 23rd, 1951 to Norman and Annie Love. When Norma was 8 months old her fam- ily left Kosciusko, Mississippi and moved to Sanger, CA.
Norma spent the ear-
lier years of her life in Sanger.
She attended the local schools
and graduated from Sanger High
School. After High School Norma attended Beauty College and received her Cosmetology License. Then she worked in various beauty shops after that.
Norma is survived by her son Jeremy Spur- geon and his wife Mary both of Atascadero, 3 grandsons, Kyle, Clayton and Cole Spurgeon all of Atascadero, 3 sisters Betty Muse of Reedley, Shirley Hughes and brother in law Vern both of Selma, Linda Merrit and brother in law Reed both of Cheyenne, WY, 2 brothers Robert Gor- den and sister in law Dorothy and Leslie Gor- den and sister in law Bonnie all of Fresno and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Sanger District Cemetery.

Anthony “Tony” Edward Madrigal
September 19, 1954 - July 10, 2019
Anthony “Tony” Edward Madrigal, age 64, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and sisters on July 10, 2019, following a long illness. He was the husband of Cynthia Lewis Madrigal with whom he shared 13 years of marriage.
Born in Inglewood, California on September 19, 1954, he was the son of Antonio and Suzanne Mad- rigal. He was retired from Allied Electric and worked as an inside sales representative. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 2781, serving as past president. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality and his love for gardening, mountains, dancing, and the Rams.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lewis Madrigal, his stepson Brandon West, sisters Teri Duffy and her husband Ed, Adela Jones and her husband Craig, Ma- ria Madrigal Moffett and her husband Michael. He is also survived by his niece Alyssa Jones and nephews Ryan Jones and Jeffrey Shaffer. He will be missed by his 3 mini dachshunds, Maggie, Miley, and Bear.
A rosary will be recited on July 19, 2019 at 10:30
am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 2838 N. West Ave, Fresno, followed by Mass at 11:00 am. Intern- ment will be at Reedley Cemetery. There will be fellowship at the church hall after Mass.
