A hip-hop and pizza lunch hour for the Community Day School Mavericks
By Dick Sheppard
Sanger Herald
Sanger's Community Day School students - and faculty - enjoyed a special lunch hour on March 25 with pizza donated by Me-n-Ed's on
Bethel Avenue and the "Juice Crew" morning team, CK and Carmen, from iheartradio's Hip-Hop and Hits B95.
The B95 website says "The Juice Crew has a high energy morning show with real people relating to real life situations, no matter how
crazy or twisted they can be."
With a boom box blaring hip-hop and the
smell of freshly baked Me-n-Ed's pizza fill- ing the multipurpose room, CK and Carmen mingled, posed with students for selfies, of- fered words of encouragement and obviously
topped the student's - and faculty's - enter- tainment charts.

Woman's Club hoping to be able to use its parking lot for April meeting
Dick Sheppard/Sanger Herald
Construction of a new business complex at the corner of 7th and P streets and reconstruction of the alley between the complex and the Sanger Woman's Club blocked access to the club's parking lot during its March meeting and it could do the same for the April meeting.
