Jonathan Aparicio
Jonathan Aparicio of
Orange Cove died Dec. 30. He was 8.
Jonathan was a stu- dent at Sheridan El- ementary School in Or- ange Cove.
He is survived by his father, his mother, his sister and grandpar- ents.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a rosary at noon and funeral mass at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, at the new St. An- thony of Padua Catho- lic Church in Reedley. A graveside services will follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Dopkins Dinuba Fu- neral Chapel is assisting the family.
Manuel G. Garcia
Manuel G. Garcia of Parlier died Dec. 29. He was 93.
Mr. Garcia formerly worked as a laborer for various employers.
He is survived by one son and three daughters. He was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Amelia Garcia; and a daughter.
Visitation and a ro- sary were held Jan. 5 at Wallin's Parlier Funeral Home. A fu-
neral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Our Lady of Sor- rows Catholic Church in Parlier.

Jack Green
Jack Green of Di- nuba died Dec. 27. He was 90.
Mr. Green worked many jobs, but served as a bus driver for the Kings Canyon Unified School District.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Green; two sons, seven grand- children and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Jan. 5 at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

Sonia Munoz Maldonado
Sonia Munoz Mal-
donado of Parlier died Jan. 2. She was 54.
Mrs. Maldonado was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, David Maldonado of Parlier; one son, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be at 9:30 with services at 10

Joshua Lee
Serrano
Joshua Lee Serrano of Sanger died Jan. 2. He was 18.
Mr. Serrano was a student.
He is survived by his father, Juan Serrano of Sanger; three broth- ers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Serrano.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Wallin's Sanger Fu- neral Home. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, as St. Mary's New Catholic Church in Sanger.
Santos Hernandez Tovar Santos Hernandez
Tovar of Sanger died Nov. 25. He was 64.
Mr. Tovar worked as an interviewer.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa O. Tovar of Sanger; two sons and two daughters.

Virginia Solis of Reedley passed away peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Eve at 93 years young. Virginia was born on September 20, 1928 at the J.D. Martin Ranch in Woodlake, Ca. to Pasqual and Fernanda Velasquez. In 1948 Virginia married Bennie Solis, where they shared
63 years together.
She is survived by her brother Leonard Velasquez. She is
remembered by her children Olivia Sanchez (Mike), Sally Gomez, Benjamin and Richard Solis. She is also remembered by her seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a long time fruit packer and floor lady at Sun Valley. She was also a member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church. Services will be held on January 11, 2021. Rosary will begin at
10 a.m. followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial service will begin immediately after the church at the Reedley Cemetery.
For those who wish may donate in Virginia’s name to St. Anthony’s of Padua Church.

The Reedley Police Department recently an- nounced the retirement of "LEO", one of the de- partment's K9 officers.
Leo officially transi- tioned from public ser- vice to private effective on Dec. 31, after serving the department and the city for eight years. The last six years have been with his partner, Sgt. Je- sus Rivera.
