Angelica
De La Garza
Angelica De La Garza of Sanger died Feb. 6. She was 90.
Mrs. De La Garza worked as a packer for Gary Packing.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Pauley of Sanger, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A private service was held. Wallin's Sanger Fu- neral Home handled the arrangements.
Agatha Enns
Agatha Enns of Dinu- ba died Feb. 11 in Clovis. She was 89.
Mrs. Enns worked as a caterer.
She is survived by one son, three daughters, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. followed by a ser- vice at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at New Life Community Church in Dinuba. Burial will be at Reedley Cemetery.

Rosa Esquibel
Rosa Esquibel of Or- ange Cove died Jan. 26 in Orange Cove. She was 69.
Mrs. Esquibel was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Esquibel, two sons, three daughters, four brothers, six sisters, 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Feb. 16 at
Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

dez of Sanger died Jan. 29 in Sanger. He was 89. Mr. Hernandez
worked in field labor. He is survived by four sons, seven daugh- ters, two brothers and
four sisters.

scheduled for 1 p.m. Fri- day, Feb. 19, at St. Mary's new Catholic Church in Sanger. Burial will be at Sanger Cemetery.

Jose de Jesus Parra
Juarez of Orange Cove died Jan. 31 in Selma. He was 61.
Mr. Juarez worked in farm labor.
He is survived by his wife, Elida Blanco Juarez, one son, one daughter and eight sisters.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Smith Mountain Ceme- tery in Dinuba. Dopkin's Reedley Funeral Home is handling the arrange- ments.

Modesta Lopez of Di- nuba died Feb. 9 in Visa- lia. She was 93.
Mrs. Lopez was a
homemaker.
She is survived by

Paul Marquez
Paul Marquez of Parlier died Feb. 5 in Parlier. He was 54.
Mr. Marquez worked in maintenance.
He is survived by one son, one daughter, two brothers and three sisters.

Jesus Lara Pizaña
Jesus Lara Pizaña of Sultana died Feb. 8 in Reedley. He was 77.
Mr. Pizaña worked as a farm laborer.
He is survived by one daughter, one son, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, seven sisters and three brothers.
A graveside service was held Feb.12 at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba. Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
William Alvares Torrez
William Alvares Tor- rez of Sanger died Feb. 7 in Fresno. He was 91.
Mr. Torrez worked as a truck driver.

Helen Hara, 89, a longtime resident of Reedley passed away on January 16, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband Isamu (Sam) and their son Douglas, her brothers Masaru and Charles Abe, her sisters Suzi Mukai and Mio Kunishege. Helen is survived by her brother Joe Abe of San Diego, her son Wesley and his wife Mary and their sons Russell and Richard Hara, five grandchildren, Jason and his wife Wendy, Ty and his wife Amy and grandchildren Kane, Kai and Jack Hara, seven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jordon, Isaiah, Josiah and Tristen Hara, Angelina and Shellie Figueroa, two great- great-grandchildren Roland and Talon Hara.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 24, 2021 at 1 p.m. 1116 South Church Ave., Reedley, Ca. 93654.

Large gun haul in Reedley
Reedley Police discovered a number of firearms and drugs inside two vehicles on Feb. 11. The discoveries were made just after 10 p.m. in the areas of Hemlock and Ponderosa Avenues after detectives said a man ran from officers and hid beside one of the vehicles. While searching for the man, officers looked in the back seat of one of the vehicles and spotted a firearm. Upon further investigation of the scene, a sec- ond vehicle also containing a firearm was found. Both cars were seized and after search warrants were executed on the cars, a discovery of various drugs including methenphetamine, cocaine and honey oil with an estimated street value of more than $65,000, as well as various illegal weapons and ammunition were found. The man was detained and the investigation is ongoing.
