The league has two paid positions, a regis- trate and referee coordi- nator. All other positions are volunteer. In order to be part a California Youth Soccer Association District 7 (Fresno area) league, there must be a registered president, vice president and registrar.
In a post on the league's Facebook page, officials said that if the po- sitions were not filled the league will be dissolved. This would include the Little Kicker program.
League positions to fill include (but are not limited to) president, vice president, secre- tary, registrar, field co- ordinator, communica- tions, referee coordina- tor and parliamentarian.
School commission- ers are asked to attend the meeting, and all soc- cer fans are invited. Go to the SYSL's Facebook page for more details.

Sanger High's Isaiah Becerril dove into the end zone to score a touchdown after in- tercepting a pass in the second quarter of the County's 35-0 victory over the City on June 18 in the 66th annual summer football meeting. The game was played at Tom Flores Stadium in Sanger, with temperatures near 105 degrees at kickoff.

first all-star game since 2019, after last year's contest was canceled be- cause of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The County, featur- ing five graduating se- niors from the Apaches' County Metro Athletic Conference champion- ship team, rolled up 21 points in the second quarter and cruised to victory. Stevenson ran for one touchdown and passed for another.
Isaiah Becerril, a standout for the Apach- es, helped fuel the sec- ond quarter outburst with a 25-yard intercep- tion return for the sec- ond County touchdown.
He was joined on the de- fense by SHS standouts Gabriel Olmos and Guill- ermo Cervantes.
Stevenson — who split quarterback duties with Sanger's John Pena and Clovis East's Sean Kelly — started the scor- ing with a 4-yard run before Becerril collect- ed his "pick six." Ryan Ramirez from Dos Palos added a 1-yard run as County took a 21-0 lead at halftime.
Running back Mor- gan Privett and lineman Jaden Munoz joined Pena as SHS offensive contrib- utors. Immanuel High's Michael Kawagoe , Reed- ley High's Max Saucedo and Parlier High's Josh- ua Rodriguez also played for the County.
